Wrinkle reduction injections are not a treatment that provides instantly visible results. You may start to notice the treatment working after a few days, with maximum results seen between 10-14 days post-treatment.
The results of an anti-wrinkle treatment last on average 3-4 months. This will depend on a number of factors including your lifestyle, natural metabolism, strength of your muscles and your body's response to the product.
The simple answer to this is, no. Stopping anti-wrinkle treatments will never worsen wrinkles, once the treatment wears off the skin will return to its previous state. We recommend leaving at least 3-4 weeks between having any injectable treatment, and any special events you may have in your diary. This is because firstly, this will allow the treatment time to reach the maximum desired result, and secondly, to ensure that no bruising is present. As with all injectable treatments, it is possible to have mild bruising after Anti-wrinkle injections, however uncommon this is, it is still possible when piercing the skin.
Vigorous exercise, sun exposure, sun beds and sauna should all be avoided for the 48 hours following your treatment.
